Print your image but unlike normal sublimation images DO NOT mirror (reverse) the image. Use any of Mega's sublimation papers. If using a Ricoh printer then we always recommend the 71-0423 (A4) or 71-0424 (A3).
Make sure you have a heat press that can open 25mm (1") wide to accommodate the Sublicrylic. You need to lay the silicone mat over the Sublicrylic during pressing so it is a good idea to get the necessary pressure correct before you turn on your press. You need a medium to high pressure when the Sublicrylic and silicone mat are in the machine. If in doubt use more pressure than less. Image failures tend to occur when the silicone mat was omitted not enough pressure was used.
The pressing temperature and time is 200°C for 7 minutes.
Use heat tape to secure your printed image in contact with the coated side of the Sublicrylic. This side should face the heated plate of your heat press.
Immediately after pressing ensure the block is cooled printed side face down on a cool surface. This ensures the block will be flat and free from distortion when cool.
