Quick-Laser is a printing system for low-cost labeling based on A4 polyester sheets that can be printed on a standard laser printer.
The new system is ideally suited to the production of rating labels, tamperproof labels or equipment panels in the electronics manufacturing and general industrial applications.
Because the system can be used with any standard desktop computer and laser printer, it eliminates the need for capital expenditure on dedicated thermal printers or software found with alternative approaches to the production of durable labels.
The A4 polyester sheets are available in a range of different colours and with over 50 die-cut variants for producing peel-off labels. Because the laser toner goes into the surface of the sheet, the labels are very durable. However, A4 sheets can easily be over laminated with polyester or polycarbonate film for extra protection.
A strong modified acrylic adhesive is used for attaching the labels. It is possible to produce tamperproof labels with a ‘void’ image remaining in the adhesive if the label is removed.
Standard temperature is -40ºC to +150ºC.
The A4 sheets are supplied in packs of 50.

To aid application of Over Laminating Films the QMD 800-305 QMD Processing Tray, 800-143 Applicator and 800-308 Application fluid are recommended on the QMD page.
Die cut sheet part numbers - Replace the * with the die cut sheet part number e.g. 8L1-SD* becomes 8L1-SD01 for sheet design 1 and 8L1-D20 for sheet design 20. Die cut designs are detailed on separate Quik-LaserTM literature.
